Is there anyone using a Nova 1624-44 lathe out there ? If so ,please tell me if you like it or not. I've been using a Power Sonic , It cratered a couple days ago. Looking at this one to replace. Also is there anyone with a 1/4 horse motor for sale... ? Thanks all in advance

1/4 HP motor can be had for cheap at your local plumber($60 here).

Used furnace fan. If you go to a city plumber it's even cheaper ($30) and your choices are much bigger:) Some are 2 speed, I'm pretty sure all are reversable.

The last motor I got there was nicer than the one on the store shelf for $120.
