i checked my lathe all over for squarness and what is happening is that i have a slight wobble in my drill chuck....when doing my wine stoppers the last few were off center when affixing them to the chrome bottoms....my lathe bed is not offline...fine when doing pens but when i attach my drill chuck the wobble is there anyone know or have any hints or tips to fix this...

MAybe try cleaning the inside of the morse taper, may be a piece of grit there making it off center. Could also be a defective drill chuck.

no not new ...been using it for a while with no problems..just started happening

Do you square the ends of your blanks on the lathe before drilling??
I had a few that did the same, if the blank is not perfectly square to the drill, when you first introduce the the drill bit to the blank it wanders off slightly. thus you get a bit of a wobble, at least that what happened to me.

maybe my drill press is off a bit...will check and make sure 1 is square
