I see everywhere discussion on the CA/BLO finish.
Why not Tung oil? Does it react differently with the CA glue?

Good point Louis, i have never heard of it being used.
I would give it a try, can't see what difference it will make.

Louis,
Good question. I current use Danish oil and I have used tung oil. with no difference in my CA finish. The differences I have found is i how the wood grain and color are effected using the different oils. Blo is the least in effecting the color of the wood, Danish is a little brown and shows the grain great and the tung is a little darker than Danish.

I use CA and Tru- Oil all the time so I see no reason why Tung Oil would not work also.
